A Hollywood back lot. Where the movies are made. Having worked on the Fox Lot as a writer, I saw these murals everyday. Homages to iconic Fox films. They fill whole sides of soundstages. But their entirety is difficult to take in, as they are interrupted by bungalows and equipment. Fragments are all that can be seen. These photographs become a sort of filmic collage of what is seen, and what is not.
